Whilst I have experience of working with all the areas listed on my home page I have three areas of specialism:-

1. I have extensive experience of working with clients in abusive relationships both whilst in the relationship and when it has ended dealing with the after effects and moving on into non abusive relationships. I work both privately and for a number years with Hampshire Police. I also worked with many women who were the victims of honour based violence.

2. I have a specialism in working with clients who are anxious and stressed. I work with this client group on a one to one basis but also run groups/workshops on managing stress. I have recently trained to teach mindfulness which is a practice which can help with anxiety and depression.

3. Bereaved clients, having worked for a local bereavement service from 1999 -2006. This included all areas of bereavement eg recent, historical, by suicide, by crime.
